Q&A with Man Lim Chung, director of Keep Rolling

Man Lim Chung has been active in the film industry from 1991, after graduating from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, School of Design. He is a renowned production designer and art director within the Hong Kong film industry. He started out as an assistant to several notable art directors during the nineties. In 1999, he won his first Hong Kong Film Award, namely Best Art Direction for the film Tempting Heart. In the following years he would collect more awards, including several for Costume and Make Up Design. Man has collaborated frequently with illustrious filmmaker Ann Hui, working as an art director on July Rhapsody (2002), The Golden Era (2014) and Our Time Will Come (2017). Keep Rolling (2020), a documentary on Ann Hui, is his debut as a filmmaker.
